Formby’s Home Front in WWI
The next in the series of monthly talks at Formby Library takes place on Tuesday, April 11 and is titled “The Home Front in Formby in WWI”.
Local historian, Tony Pawson from the Formby Civic Society, will be explaining how the people of Formby coped during WWI while so many young men were away at war; and how everyday life was changed in the village.
