Removal of the former COVID-19 test site, next to Bootle Town Hall on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st June.
Removal of the former walk-through COVID-19 testing site, next to Bootle Town Hall, will be completed on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st June.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has informed the Council that the work will start from around 7.30 am on Monday 20th June. Unavoidably there will some noise and potential congestion, but these will be kept to a minimum as much as possible.
Parking
To allow for the work to take place the lay-by parking opposite will be suspended for the articulated lorries that will be required to crane the portacabins off the site and transport them away.
The area will be coned off from 7.30 am Monday morning so residents are being asked not to park there from the Sunday evening.
The fencing around the site will be removed on Thursday 23rd June but this is not expected to have any effect on traffic or parking.
Thanked
Sefton Council has written to local residents to tell them about the work taking place and the temporary parking restrictions and has also thanked those residents for their cooperation in having the testing site, which has made a major contribution to reducing coronavirus infection levels locally, as a neighbour for the past two years.
