Formby Library play host to Lord Street history talk
The history of Lord Street, Southport will be the topic for the latest monthly talk taking place at Formby Library on Tuesday January 9.
The mile long Victorian thoroughfare, said to have been the inspiration for the tree lined boulevards of Paris, has been a favourite shopping destination for over a century and has many fascinating stories to tell.
The guest speaker is local historian Hilary Ambrose.
