Redgate Primary wins Gold at National Teaching Awards
Hot on the heels of Sefton schools’ successes in the Educate Awards, came the announcement that the Borough’s Redgate Primary has won gold at the National Teaching Awards.
The Early Years Team of the Year Award recognises those teams whose dedication and commitment have helped transform children’s early learning and development. These very early years of a child’s life are recognised as key in shaping their lifelong learning, development, and achievements.
Passion and enthusiasm
Redgate Primary’s team was described by the judges as having “a passion and enthusiasm for their work which is unmistakable. They embody why getting it right in the early years is so vital!”
Educate Awards
Earlier in November, Litherland High School won the The Communication Award, Maghull High School won in the Outstanding Commitment to STEM category and St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School won the Outstanding Commitment to Sport in Primary School category in The Educate Awards ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral.
Additionally Netherton Moss Primary School was named runner up in the Outstanding Commitment to the Environment and Stephanie Wardale from Hillside High School was runner up in the teacher of the Year category.
