National Allocation Day for Secondary School Places: 2019

Friday 1st March 2019 is the national allocation day where all children transferring from Primary to Secondary School in September 2019 find out which secondary school they have been allocated.

  • 88% of Sefton residents have been allocated their first preference Sefton school.
  • 98% of Sefton residents have been allocated one of their three preferred Sefton schools.
  • 99% of all those who applied for places at Sefton Schols were allocated one of their three preferred schools.

If you applied for your secondary school place online you will receive an email confirmation (if you requested to be notified by email). You can also log in to the citizen portal directly to view your offer information.

North Liverpool Key Corridor

Traffic restrictions are currently in place on the A565, Derby Road between the junction of Millers Bridge and Bankfield Street, in Liverpool, to facilitate road crossings and other works within the existing carriageway as part of the North Liverpool Key Corridor Works.

Between Monday  5th November and Friday 9th November, the section will accommodate northbound traffic only, with southbound traffic diverted.

Waterloo Road from Cotton Street to Paisley Street will be closed from Monday 12th November to Friday 7th December.
