Chatter and Natter events are taking place every week day in cafés around Formby, offering people the chance to pull up a chair and strike up a conversation.

Dedicated tables will be set up for café customers who wish to chat with fellow customers.

Chatter and Natter is part of the national Chatty Café scheme aimed at bringing people together at participating venues.

To date more than 900 venues have signed up nationwide.

Chatter and Natter takes place at the following cafes in Formby:

• Mondays – Delish, Brows Lane – 10am – 6pm
• Tuesdays – Formby Pool Café, Elbow Lane – 1pm – 3pm
• Wednesdays – Derbyshires, Chapel Lane – 10am – 11.30am
• Thursdays – The Bakery, Halsall Lane – 10am – 12noon
• Sundays – The Kitchen, Chapel Alley – 10am – 3pm
