Places are still available to take part and competitors over the age of 16 from across the region are welcome, with entries priced at £10 for Active Workforce members and £15 for the public.
Changing rooms, showers and lockers will be available and water and refreshments will be provided after the race. There will also be limited bike hire, please inform Active Workforce if you’ll need a bike upon registration.
Cllr Ian Moncur, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, said: “Each year the Active Workforce duathlon proves to be an incredibly popular sporting event
“This is a great opportunity to try a different sort of challenge that you might not have tried before and participants can run or walk at their own pace.”
